Workouts

My weight history

As a child and teen  I was always very active. I was in gymnastics for 6.5 years (quitting at age 15). After quitting gymnastics always feared I would get fat. I stayed fit for a few years after quitting but once I hit college/university I started to pack on the pounds. By age 24 I was 165 lbs which was way too heavy for my 5 foot 4 stature. I tried on and off to loose weight for a couple years, only loosing 5-10 lbs here and there and then gaining it all back.

In 2011 I finally lost over 20lbs and kept it off for a full year (I’m now between 143 and 145 lbs).

Here is my weight loss story.

In 2011 I successfully completed 8 or more workouts per month (which consisted of running, jogging, walking, and general conditioning).

In the future I hope to run a ½ marathon before age 30 (I’m currently 27). I’m totally happy with my current body weight, but wouldn’t mind loosing another 5lbs or so.

Join me as I chronicle my adventures in maintaining my healthy body weight, and pushing my fitness level to new heights!
